I like the headband. We have had a wonderfully mild winter here too. Wouldn’t you know it though? The ONE weekend I had to be on the road, to Pittsburgh last weekend, is the SAME weekend that winter decided to make an appearance in the form of snow. Sigh. Back in the upper 50′s now. LOL

Thanks for the excellent tutorial! I have a little tom and have been picking out noils etc. I do clean the licker to get cleaner batts…but taking off the brush cleaning the drum is a great method.

*Chuckle* Yes, the first couple birds resulted in pin-cushion hands. I’ve since learned to hold and needle gingerly, if at all; or tack onto the foam and then go to town with the poking.

What a cute idea! I have needle felting supplies here but I just tend to get distracted and try to needle felt myself instead. Of course, then I see these and want to try it again!

I’m not much of a hand knitter, either…..although I am cultivating it! I’m sure sometime I’ll try entrelac on the machine….there just need to be more hours in the day to get to everything I want to do!

Have you tried entrelac on the knitting machine yet? I think you’d be pleasantly surprise. I have my project on my blog. Not sure if my entries on entrelac would convince you to give a go, but I love what I made. I’m not a hand knitter per se, so the machine was faster for me.
