Yarn and Fiber Clubs
Tiger Club is currently only open for new subscriptions via wait list (so the buttons show 'sold out'), just to keep things a little less crazy through the holidays. Do use the Contact form and drop me a line, I'll get you in as soon as I can!

Join the Tiger Club! Simply sign up for the club of your choice, and you will receive lovely hand dyed sock yarn and/or fiber that will be exclusive to the club for at least 4 months. Payments are monthly, and there is no minimum commitment. You will continue to be in the club until you tell us to stop.
Fiber and yarn will be in the same colorway (or very related). I do my best to send a wide variety of colors, intensities, and techniques throughout the year. If you feel like you are in a rut, Tiger Club can get you to try some new things!

Hand Dyed Sock Yarn of the Month Club
The yarns for the Sock Club will mainly be appropriate for knitting socks. Examples are Titanium Tiger Twist, Targhee, Tiger Tweed, Journey, Safari, Bengal, Panda. These vary from a light fingering weight to nearly sport, all are superwash, and most also contain nylon.
All yarns will be either 100 grams or 4 oz (115 g), and yardage varies between 400-490 yards, enough to make a pair of adult socks, a small shawl, or other sock weight project. Occasionally, the put-up may be 2-5 mini-skeins to equal the full yardage.
Dyeing methods will include kettle, semi-solid, speckled, tonal, painted, dipped, etc. About half of the yarn you receive will be variegated and are typically planned to create mini-stripes on socks. About 2-3 times over the course of a year you can expect to receive a more premium/time consuming dyeing method such as self-striping, matching gradient, sock blank, or a mini-skein set. I create the various types randomly, so what you receive may seem to vary from the ratio I describe above if you only join for a few months.

Hand Dyed Spinning Fiber of the Month Club
Love to spin your own yarn? Fiber will be in a similar colorway as the sock club, and will vary in the fiber each month. Examples are Jacob, Finn, Merino, Corriedale, Targhee, Falkland, Dorset Horn, BFL, Wensleydale, Polwarth, Shetland, Romney, and more. I generally do not send mohair or angora due to many having allergies to them, but do sometimes dye camelids (camel, alpaca, llama). I also occasionally offer wool blends with things such as bamboo, tencel, silk, and firestar.
My goal is variety, so I plan for different fibers within a 6 month period, however depending on when you join in the cycle, you may get a repeat as I do change up the order.
These will generally be 4 oz for a single fiber membership, 8 oz for double fiber.
A few times a year, you may receive a specialty fiber such as a silk or exotic fiber blend. These offerings may be a smaller amount in oz, but the overall dollar value will be appropriate.

No returns on clubs once they are shipped, the surprise is part of the fun. You are welcome to trade, sell, swap, or gift any yarn and/or fiber that doesn't jive with your personal style, no waiting period or restrictions.

I've been asked a few times, so I'll add this here: The Painted Tiger is a scent-free shop; I'm personally sensitive to fragrances, so I do not use detergent with perfume, nor do I wear scented personal products. We do have cats, they are not allowed in the studio, they don't much like being picked up, and I do my best to be clean when I work with and pack the yarn and fiber. If you have other allergy concerns, please do contact me for answers!!

How To Change Your Payment Information Within Paypal
If you used PayPal to pay for your club subscription and need to update the payment information (change payment method or update credit card information) you will need to log in to your Paypal account to make those changes.
Here’s how to change your funding source for preapproved payments:

- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click the Setting gear icon near the top right of the page.
- Click Payments.
- Click the Manage Automatic Payments button
- Click the name of the merchant for the agreement you want to change.
- Under "Payment method," click Change next to the funding source you're looking to change.
If you have a balance with PayPal, this will always be the first payment method they use to pay a billing agreement or automatic payment.
Paypal will use that updated payment information for the next recurring payment taken for your Tiger Club.
