Grand Old Flag - Journey Sock Yarn

Our best selling self patterning sock yarn colorway on a new base for you! This will knit up with 5 alternating stripes of red and white (each about 4 rows on 64 stitch socks), and a wider stripe of blue with stars.

It's Star and Stripes, Forever....in a new wider stripe format! This bolder look will give you more pattern options, both for socks, and for other projects like scarves, hats, and baby items. Enjoy some easy knitting with complicated looking results!

Journey Sock Yarn

• 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon
• 4 ply
• 460 yards, 100 grams
• 8-9 stitches per inch on #1-2 (knit snug for longer lasting socks)
• Hand dyed with Lanaset Professional dyes for brilliant and long lasting color.
• Hand or machine wash cool with wool appropriate pH neutral detergent or shampoo with a splash of vinegar, dry flat. For best results, hand wash quickly in cool, remove from water promptly. A color catcher may be a good idea the first wash or so. I set the red and make sure it doesn't bleed, however your water and detergent will have different chemistry and thus possibly different results.
