Beyond thrilled to have found the Grand Old Flag yarn. Saw a vendor at Stitches South knitting with it and forgot what she told me about her source. Have asked 3 or 4 LYS and done several web searches. Finally googled self striping sock yarn and you came up. Then to my added joy found you in Iowa. I learned to knit in South Dakota, went to nursing school in Sioux City and have relatives in the Des Moines area. So very nice to be buying from a "neighbor". Will not place myself at the front door and await delivery Joy Joy Joy

I'm currently knitting with my skein of Grand Old Flag. It's going to turn into a pair of socks for my sister, who loves anything flag-themed, for a Christmas present. You said this particular skein was seconds, because a little red dye got in the white. but I haven't found any "oops" spots yet. I just wanted to let you know how much I LOVE this yarn and the colorway. I can't wait to see her reaction - she's going to love them! I'm just doing a really simple K3P1 rib all the way up, so the colorway is shown to best advantage. It's really, really terrific, and I was very impressed with your speedy shipping. I got the yarn about a week before I was expecting it, since you were on vacation, and I was very pleased. Thank you, and I'll definitely be ordering again!! Dawnmaire on Rav
